About this app

The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors. You can check your glucose by scanning the sensor with your phone. Now FreeStyle Libre 2 users can get automatic glucose readings in the FreeStyle LibreLink app, updated every minute, and receive alerts when their glucose levels are low or high. [1]

The FreeStyle LibreLink application can be used to:

* view your current glucose readings, trend arrow, and glucose history;
* receive low or high glucose alerts from FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors;
* viewing reports, including the time the concentration stays in the range and the user's daily trends;
* sharing your data with your doctor and family members after giving your consent.

SMARTPHONE COMPATIBILITY
Compatibility may vary depending on phone and operating system. For more information on compatible phones, visit http://FreeStyleLibre.com.

USING THE APPLICATION AND READER WITH THE SAME SENSOR
Alarms can be triggered on the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or the user's phone (not both devices). To receive alarms on your phone, you need to activate the sensor via the app. To receive alarms on the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, it is necessary to activate the sensor using the reader. After activating the sensor using the reader, this sensor can also be scanned using the phone.

Please remember that the application and the reader do not share data with each other. To have complete information on a given device, you must scan your sensor with that device every 8 hours. Otherwise, the reports will not contain all user data. Uploading and viewing data obtained from all user devices is possible on LibreView.com.

APPLICATION INFORMATION
The FreeStyle LibreLink app is intended to measure glucose levels in people with diabetes and should be used with a sensor for this purpose. For more information on using the FreeStyle LibreLink application, please refer to the User Guide available in the application. If you require a paper version of the User Guide, please contact Abbott Diabetes Care Customer Service.

Healthcare professionals should be consulted to confirm that the product is appropriate for the potential user and if they have questions about the use of the product to make treatment decisions.

More information at http://FreeStyleLibre.com.
[1] If the FreeStyle LibreLink app is used, you must also have access to a blood glucose monitoring system as the app does not provide this on its own.

[2] The alerts you receive do not include glucose readings, so you must scan the sensor to check your glucose levels.
