This is an amazing game. As close to pure logic as it gets. The thermometer concept really helps explain the mechanics very well, making them rather intuitive. My only complaint is that thirty boards for the dailies is a bit much.ten would be much more doable, but that in absolutely no way detracts from the over all experience. It's one of the best puzzle games I've ever played.

Despite what the authors claim, "No random guessing! Solve the levels with logic only.", at higher levels, like 7x7, this cannot be solved by logic alone. You have to guess and then backtrack if you guessed wrong. This is why they included a function to save and restore state, to assist in the guessing process. I still enjoyed the game to this point, but now it's just tedious, since it's not an intellectual exercise, but rather a brute force process of elimination.

Hi, thanks for your comment. I can assure you that all the levels can be solved without guessing. Please send me a screenshot of a problematic level at thermometers@frozax.com and I'll check again for you.

(Updated 11/12/19) New facelift looks fresh, but I'm not paying a dollar a day for new puzzles, sorry. (Original review) While not the most challenging of puzzle games out there, this is an interesting take on the picross-style puzzle, and it's very satisfying to work out the correct order in which to mark red and white segments in order to solve each puzzle. Done by the same developer as another of my favorites, Battleship Solitaire. Highly recommended!
