About this app

Cronosurf Wave Pro is a chronograph watch app for Android devices and a watchface for Wear OS watches. No other OS are supported for now. Note: Due to latest Google policies allowing only WFF watch faces on the Play Store (from 2026 on), we had to remove the Wear OS version from this release. Previously installed watch faces will continue to function.

This app is based on the original design started 2014 as a web-based technology demonstrator (cronosurf.com). Its main focus lays on design, functionality and usability. If you are a chronograph watch lover, you'll find yourself using Cronosurf as your day-to-day app for alarm, countdown timer and stopwatch!

Since Cronosurf has many features, the app includes a comprehensive user manual. The Button Assistant is now integrated in the app (portrait mode). Use it to quickly getting familiarized with the basics. To activate it, tap on the area above the watch.

Optional "Android Smartwatch Mode" for standalone Android watches (Cronosurf runs as an app on these devices, not as a native watchface).

It's gorgeous, and I want to love it, but the steps don't sync with my phone, so it only shows steps while I've had the watch on, not my total steps. Minor annoyance to some, but it really bugs me for some reason, especially considering the cost. Galaxy Watch 5 Edit - now that I know the step counter doesn't really even work, it honestly is more disappointing. Wish I had known that before paying for the pro version, as I wouldn't have done so

Thanks for your feedback! The step counter feature is purely experimental. In order to make it fully functional we would need to implement the Google Fit API and ask users for permission to read their fitness data, which some users might not feel comfortable with. However, we will reconsider in the future to implement this if feasible.

Just installed the Pro version on my Samsung watch 4 and I have to say this is definitely my favorite watch face however I can't seem to get the weather to work. Even on my s22 ultra phone app it asked to enter the location and if you enter a city and state or a zip code it doesn't ever give you an option to hit enter all you can do is back out and nothing ever updates. I will definitely throw five stars this way when that bug gets worked out Edit: got the weather lined out. 5 stars!

Thanks for your review and feedback! When you start typing a city name, a list of locations should appear. By tapping on one of them the entry will be saved. Zip codes are not supported (yet). If still in doubt, please contact us: fruit4droid+cronosurfwavepro@gmail.com

I've been using the weather on your Smartwatch add-on (on my Smartphone) I use Celsius unit. Could you add a baro (barometric) pressure also altitude meter (altimeter) and AOA rate of descent and assent, having a barometric pressure and altitude would be great what the heck add that it's raining or the percentage of rain you could set that to look ahead for now, hours days or for combination thereof think about it and get back to me.⌚

Thanks for your 5 star review! That's right, a few features aren't possible on a physical watch. Nevertheless, most of the concept design/functionality have been created with a physical watch in mind (our vision). Also, we would prefer 5 buttons on smart watches . This would allow for a much better user experience and more interesting watch faces.
