Ratings and reviews

Feb 28 2026 the app will no longer display the epaper in high res . . . Edit (02 May 2026) Issue with low res resolved (no explanation from FT). Two new issues to report: 1. "Highlight in Full Screen" banner across the lower 1/4 of the screen keeps reappearing even when supposedly turned off.Significantly impedes access to Text View of articles at bottom of page. 2. Some articles in Text View have become merged, so you start reading 1 article and suddenly the text is from a different article!

An update broke the app. It was no longer possible to read my paid subscription using it. Within a week a new update to the app fixed the problem and full functionality was restored.

This app is for one of the most expensive digital papers out there, therefore the expectations are high. Its functions are great, from zooming in to the highlighted titles that one can click. HOWEVER, I don't understand why it needs to be online to show papers already downloaded. So I can't use it on a tablet that doesn't have internet, unless I can connect to a hotspot of a phone in a location with internal. This is disappointing and beats the purpose.
