About this app

Ecoseek helps you discover, log, and track your adventures across all the natural environments in your state.

Ecoseek was created to help people understand how wonderful and diverse our world is. The app uses expert-defined boundaries that divide states into major regions of ecosystems -- that is, areas with a unique collection of climates, plants, animals, rocks and more. Ecoseek helps you find areas to visit within these regions and keeps a digital logbook as you explore them. Can you experience all the ecoregions that your state has to offer? Challenge yourself and find out!

Ecoseek was developed to be offline first so be bold and get out of cell service (real nature) and explore! This also means that data will stay on your device.

Support Ecoseek
Ecoseek is free to use with no ads, subscriptions, or paywalls. If you find value in the app and want to help fund new features, server costs, and real conservation efforts, you can make a small one-time support contribution from within the app. Contributions are entirely optional and processed securely through Google Play.

Government Data Sources
This app uses publicly available U.S. government datasets:
• EPA Ecoregions
(https://www.epa.gov/eco-research/ecoregions)
• USGS Protected Areas Database of the United States (PAD-US)

This app is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency.
