About this app

The “X half” app is an application that can be used in conjunction with Fujifilm's X half digital cameras to maximize your experience of X half world.
By pairing the camera with the app via Bluetooth®, you can transfer captured images and videos to your smartphone or tablet, and view the transferred images in Gallery and Album. Photos taken in FILM CAMERA MODE can be developed with this app for viewing.
In addition to Bluetooth®, the Wi-Fi® is also used to transfer captured images and movies.
FUJIFILM provides “Activity Record”, a network service that automatically summarizes daily photographic activities in a diary format. To use the “Activity Record”, you need to use the “FUJIFILM XApp” app in addition to this app. The network service may not be available in your region or country.

[Notes]
“X half” provides a function that synchronizes the location information of a smartphone with the camera and records it in the captured image. To reduce the battery drain of your smartphone, please set the location information synchronisation interval to a longer time from the “X half” menu.

Ratings and reviews

The album and gallery are two separate tabs that show the same images, with gallery being useless. When deleting an image it sends you back to the top of the image list. Photos I delete keep showing back up even though they're not in my phone's photo folder anymore. and now I can't even make any 2-in-1 photos through the app because it says I have insufficient storage despite having 20 GB of free space. The only way to fix it is to delete app data, which lasts about a day and breaks again

The transfer rates are fast enough, the layout and film 'developement' feature is fun, and the x half is just such a brilliant, fun camera.

This app is absolutely garbage and almost unusable. The biggest issue is that when syncing photos, the imported photos have a timestamp that matches the sync time and not the time the photo was actually taken, this makes it impossible to sort through your photos

What’s new

1.You can transfer images even if you don't have access permissions for “Photos and Media / Photos and Videos.”
2.You can use the “Gallery” and “Albums” features even if the access to “Photos and videos” is set to “Allow limited access” with Android 14 and later.
3.You can resume the transfer from where it is left off even if the wireless connection is lost while transferring images taken in Film Camera mode.
4.Some minor bugs are fixed.
