WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
Most period apps run on servers, and health apps are not bound by HIPAA. Emberly can't share your data because it never has it: there are no servers, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers in the app. Everything is computed on your phone. Backups are files you create yourself and save wherever you choose, like your own Google Drive. Privacy here isn't a policy promise. It's the architecture.
