I've tried all of the medication reminder apps out there, and this, while not perfect, is the best. It is not perfect, it could use some polishing, and a feature to look forward on a calendar to see what is scheduled for that day, but it allows for entering alternate doses, changing times or quantities, and great reminders.

Thanks for your review! I am still updating and improving the app, so you might want to leave a feature request on my GitHub page or check what might be coming soon. There is already a calendar function in the medication view, but it only shows the upcoming dose per single medicine.

A great, full-featured application for tracking medications. Hat tip to the developer for creating an outstanding application. Bonus points for it being ad free and open source. I went through at least half a dozen other apps that were either poorly implemented, plagued with ads, or featured locked behind subscription models. I do not mind paying for good software, but having a monthly subscription fee for every app on your phone is just not feasible.

I switched to MedTimer from MediSafe. I primarily want an app that's really good at reminders and tracking medication. 1 job done well. MedTimer does that 1 job quite well. I can identify meds, and although it's a bit more manual, I'm happy to jump through a couple of extra steps. It's quite customizable, and the developer seems very nice and that is always a win. MediSafe shims in a lot of superfluous stuff and the recent changes to their privacy policy finally drove me away.
