Position sizing is the one calculation that decides what a losing trade actually costs you. Fx Calculator does it in seconds — with no connection, no account, and no guessing about which contract size your broker uses.

HOW IT WORKS
Enter your balance, the risk you accept, your entry and your stop. You get back the exact lot size, the money at risk, and the margin the position will lock. Change any field and every number updates with it. Long or short, the arithmetic gets the same care either way.

Entry, stop and target sit on a price rail you can drag. The handles snap to whole price steps, so a drag can never produce a price your broker would refuse, and the exact figure stays on screen while you move it. Drag to aim, type to be precise. There is no candlestick chart here on purpose: the app holds no time data, and an axis that shows nothing is worse than no axis at all.

Indices are priced in their home currency — DAX in EUR, FTSE in GBP, JP225 in JPY — so pip value converts from the right money instead of a blanket USD assumption.

Contract size and pip step genuinely differ between brokers. Is gold 50 ounces or 50,000? The app ships common retail defaults and lets you override every one of them, instrument by instrument, so the answer matches your account and not somebody else's.

EXACT ARITHMETIC, NOT FLOATING POINT
Every figure is computed in decimal. Money and lot sizes never pass through binary floating point, so you never get 0.7999999999999999 lots where 0.80 was meant — the kind of value a broker rejects outright.
