App itself works fine with a decent UI that looks good and does what is needed for the basic game. Basically, it's just a somewhat more convenient version of the physical rulebooks/codexes. They really should include a CP, VP, and maybe even unit health counter in the app when in the "command bunker" tab. They could also maybe have a tutorial mode or something to walk new players through their turns? Subscription is a worthless money grab after already paying for codexes, plastic, etc.

After the most recent update, the app crashes CONSTANTLY. Get maybe 5 minutes to look at unit stats before it crashes. Get alerts from my phone now that the app is slowing it down and should be put in deep sleep so it doesn't affect performance. CAN'T USE THE WAR JOURNAL AT ALL. Try to open it, immediately crashes. Can't use the app to play the game anymore, so I guess I just can't play anymore at all. Without it, we can't go to tournaments or properly play. Reinstalled, and it fixed nothing.

Honestly, its an "alright" app, but the fact that 90% of the app is locked behind purchases is ridiculous. Ive already spent thousands on models & paints, terrain etc... , but im not able to look at the rules for them unless I buy a codex is insane. One feature I'd love to see, is a "collection" tab, which everything you buy, you can put into the collection, and look at the breakdown for models/factions/armies. But, I know its probably never gonna happen...
