Ratings and reviews

App itself works fine with a decent UI that looks good and does what is needed for the basic game. Basically, it's just a somewhat more convenient version of the physical rulebooks/codexes. They really should include a CP, VP, and maybe even unit health counter in the app when in the "command bunker" tab. They could also maybe have a tutorial mode or something to walk new players through their turns? Subscription is a worthless money grab after already paying for codexes, plastic, etc.

You require a subscription to Warhammer+ to even make more than one list at a time, and almost every army is locked behind requiring a "codex code", meaning on top of your monthly or annual subscription, you need to buy $60 codexes for the code in the back to unlock the army's rules in the app. Not to mention the $60 spent on a codex is useless after a few years, when the next edition comes out. Games Workshop (also known as 'Warhammer') clearly prioritizes profits over players, avoid. 👎🏻

After the most recent update, the app crashes CONSTANTLY. Get maybe 5 minutes to look at unit stats before it crashes. Get alerts from my phone now that the app is slowing it down and should be put in deep sleep so it doesn't affect performance. CAN'T USE THE WAR JOURNAL AT ALL. Try to open it, immediately crashes. Can't use the app to play the game anymore, so I guess I just can't play anymore at all. Without it, we can't go to tournaments or properly play. Reinstalled, and it fixed nothing.
