the app could be really cool however it falls short in the most crucial aspect. the app shows example pictures of models, you can then click on them to supposedly get the colors used in painting them. however the colors are almost always incorrect, they will at best show you a scheme that will vaguely look similar to the picture shown. the best example of this is the black Templar armor. the picture featured is from one of the studio painters armies, the app tells you to use 3 colors in achieving this look. however the actual artist did a step by step guide in a white dwarf article on how he painted the armor, it uses 5 paints and none of those 5 are ones that the citadel paint app recommends. if you have an example model the paint suggestions SHOULD reflect the colors ACTUALLY used!

It's ok. Use YouTube tutorials instead. When trying to see what your SM would look like in XX faction doesn't always load in the "colour scheme" they let you select. If money is not an issue, they do make it super easy to order/wishlist the paints you "should use" for whatever model your looking for... literally ANY... but they still won't give you a precise IMG for reference. It definitely seems more geared towards here's what you need, now buy it. Still a useful app for gaining inspiration.😅

The app offers a quick way to view what paints you need and what ones you already have when you get overwhelmed at your local GW store's paint rack. However, it desperately needs an update, many models are missing and trying to organize the ones they do have under the "projects" tab is anything but user friendly. A fine app but I would rely on youtube more tbh.
