Overall, the app is very good at teaching practical phrases that people will use in Japan. I've skipped the beginner levels because I've taken classes up till middle of N4, so I can't provide much comments on that. one thing I wish that would be implemented is having a tab that lets us see everything we've learned, instead of going into chapter by chapter, since we can jump to any situation we want, that could be hard to track. Also, the app tends to stop working midway through an exercise.

I've only used it for a couple days so far, but it definitely has potential since it's helping to get me speaking. The only complaint I really have so far is that the music just isn't staying OFF for me. I need the music to be muted so that I can hear new (or review) words properly, but the music keeps turning itself back on. it wouldn't be so bad if the default volume of the music didn't start off so loud compared to the voices.

I've been trying to learn Japanese on and off for 7+ years now and this app is the best one I've tried! it's not only fun with interesting characters but it's helped me learn the most amount of words and sentences in the shortest amount of time! each lesson gives you coins that you can trade for cute stickers. there is an AI based chat to simulate talking with your newly learned phrases, but everything else from the art to the voice acting is human made which I really like. worth the price imo
