What a fun and engaging learning app! Actually being able to have conversations in Japanese is helping me finally hit that next step in retention and thinking natively in the language. I've seen other reviews mention the paywall. I knew kana going in so I hit the moment fast. But I had so much fun that I signed up for the 7 day trial and from there subscribed. Great products aren't free to make. And this is a great product. The price is easily worth the admission. Give it a try!!!

i think this is an excellent interactive way to practice Japanese. my only gripe is that the option to turn off the background music doesnt seem to work and the music just continues to play loudly in the background despite the volume option clearly being at zero. the app also sometimes glitches and the mic button disappears, forcing me to exit out of my leason and erasing my progress. overall a really great app but could use better optimization as many other reviews have been saying.

Advertised as free but only the 1st few lessons are free. I didn't get very far but the other reviews tell me it's not even worth the $ anyway. There are plenty of other actually free gamified Japanese learning apps. I'll stick with those. This looked fun, but seems like a waste of time and money.
