I find it so much easier to motivate me to want to open the app and go through the cards. I love that I can add new cards and how easy it is! My only suggestion would be to have an option of, for single words that are easy to identify, use a picture of the word and have me name it in the target language. (instead of "red -> rot", show a red square and make that "rot". or a pic of an airplane and have me click "flugzeug" instead of the word airplane.)

having way more fun with this than Duo. I love that i can go back and repeat stuff I haven't quite mastered/set the pace. The game itself is pretty fun too. little bit of farming, little bit of turn based combat. I feel the cost for premium is more than fair, and the free version ain't half bad.

Update: raised from 3 to 5 stars after playing the game for a while. My concerns about monetization were resolved once i reached level 10. other positives: the interface is increfibly clean and uncluttered compared to other games, the dev team is incredibly responsive, and the game mechanics are solid. this team knows what they are doing. i purchased a lifetime subscription to access custom content and I LOVE it, very powerful and well worth the money.
