The app seems to have issues uploading at times, I've lost out on rewards as well as progress toward bonuses because of it. This does seem to be a decent way of helping to cover groceries or other purchases, getting ready to cash out my first $25 gift card soon.
These people are as shady as can be. They will reject half of the jobs you do and give you the most ridiculous reasons why. Try Field Agent and Easy Shift. You can trust those ones.
The new update won't show the picture taken on the review page. The picture space looks dark. Now they can reject the mission with the excuse that the picture is blurry and invalid. Already got3 missions rejected with that lame excuse. Why can't they Fix the app so the picture️ shows in the app after taking it? Sneaky 😡 The last version showed the pictures after taking them.
Ive been able to purchase groceries and new fun items with the gift cards. Just a fun way to make spare change. By no means is this a full time job. Love it.
I usually leave ratings for apps when I think they are great, but I feel it is important to let others know the reality of what it is like to play Mobee. If you read other comments with less stars, they are similar to the situation I am about to describe. First, let me explain how Mobee works. They market it as a game, I'm assuming to make it sound fun for players. The way they make money is by working for brands that are sold in stores. Brand owners want to make sure their products are in stock and displayed properly. Mobee sends their "worker bees" aka us, to go take pics of these products in stores, and then we are awarded points based on the pictures. Most times there are also questions that need to be answered along with the pictures. The point value is high 1 point = 1¢. When I first came across Mobee I thought it was a fun way to earn money. I recently started having financial problems and lost my car. This means I walk to the Mobee locations. I don't mind this, because hey, its America and we all need to walk a bit. Mobee was great after my first job but on second job I was sent to an auto store for 250 points aka $2.50. It was a couple miles from home and 30 degrees out, but like I said, Americans ESPECIALLY need to exercise. When I got there I was asked to take pics of 4 products. After taking the pics I was asked the price and if item was on sale. I finished the job and walked back home. The next day they sent me a message stating my job was denied. Their reason? I said a car battery was not on sale, but next to it, there was a sign that said if you trade your old battery in, then you will get a lesser price on the new battery. Now, I realize this can be interpreted different ways, but when I think of a sale, I think of signage like 50% or or $2 off. Here is an analogy: If I go to a car dealership, and trade in my old beat up taurus (a beat up taurus would actually be nice right now since I don't have a car, but alas I digress) and the dealership gives me $300 towards my new car, I do not consider my new car on sale. I don't go around telling my friends I got my new car ON SALE. I might say I paid less because they allowed me to trade in my old car and apply the value towards my new car, but it is definitely not on sale. You may think I am overreacting but here is the thing. Whether or not I got the question right in their eyes, they still were paid by the hiring brand. I however lost $2.50 over semantics. My interpretation versus theirs. I tried explaining and appealing but, I was sent a generic response that looked to be a written auto response sent to all complainers, about why I did a bad job. Here is the thing: if you are going to run an app like this, Please, Please, PLEASE do the right thing when you know the worker is correct. We can both be right in our own way, but your ratings would be much higher if you took the side of the customer in silly situations like this. You made money off me walking in the cold for miles to take these pics, and I interpreted the question too literally so I was not paid. I gave you three stars because your app is an awesome idea. I'll bet you'd make a ton more money if you swallowed your pride and did the right thing by your "Worker Bees" . For those that read my whole comment here is a tip for you: download Gig Walk and Field Agent. They have higher ratings for obvious reasons. They don't use a points system but offer cash. Gig Walk is $10 per gig. And Field Agent is $4-10. They are picky and you must be detail oriented, but their directions are so clear that there is no room for error in interpretation. Also, Mobee creators? If you would like me to modify my opinion... Contact me and we can talk. Cheers.
