Nour Daily brings carefully sourced passages from the Qur'an, authentic hadith, and wisdom from classical Sunni scholars into a calm daily experience. Every reflection carries its author, classical work, and reference, so meaningful words are never reduced to anonymous internet quotes.

Prayer times come along with it, calculated on your device. Nour Daily never asks for location permission.

Open Nour Daily for a concise reflection selected from a growing, provenance-backed library. Each day draws on a Quran ayah, an authentic hadith, a dua, or a passage of dhikr and classical wisdom - every one labelled with where it came from. Recent selections are remembered to reduce repetition.

PRIVATE PRAYER TIMES

Choose a city by name and Nour Daily calculates Fajr, sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha directly on your device. City autocomplete is bundled with the app: Nour Daily never requests location permission, contacts a geocoder, or sends your city and coordinates to a server. Regional calculation methods and Hanafi or standard Asr calculation are supported.

QIBLA COMPASS

Face the Kaaba from the same city you chose for prayer times. The bearing is calculated on your device and corrected for magnetic declination, so the compass points to true north rather than magnetic north. Nour Daily never requests location access. On a device without a compass the exact bearing in degrees is still shown.

HOME SCREEN WIDGETS

Keep the day's reflection or prayer schedule close without opening the app. The resizable widgets support light and dark appearance and store rolling snapshots locally for reliable offline display.

HIJRI-AWARE

See the Hijri and Gregorian date alongside the day's reflection, with awareness of supported Islamic calendar occasions.
