HERO LIGHTING
Our Hue light scenes have cinematic flair. Music sound tracks set the mood while our an animation engine delivers bursts of light and sound where anything can happen. Santa lands on your house! Zombies attack! You are in a spaceship battle!

Other light scenes transport you to a Lush Forest, Venice or even Deep Space to chill out in the Orion Nebula listening to superb ambient electronic music.

CREATIVE LIGHTING
OnSwitch gives you smarter, clearer ways to control your smart lights. Instead of guessing what Hue's "Light Recipes" mean, our Everyday Lighting album presents gorgeous photos of antique and halogen bulbs or a skylight so it's clear what kind of light you are going to get. Our fluorescent tube even flickers on like the real thing!

If you’re looking for an App to use with Hue lights for Halloween, Christmas, a party, or just to show off your fancy lights to your friends and neighbors, this is the app to get! It does a really great job synchronizing the color-changing lights and music into engaging shows. Have you ever driven by those houses that go all out for Christmas with radio stations that have music synchronized to their displays? That's basically what this app does for you with your Hue lights!

It's not app. It's an app store. You get a few free sample themes but you could easily spend a small fortune on light themes. Most are a $1.99. The only positive thing I can say is I didn't experience any technical problems with it. If you paid $2.00 to unlock a whole group of themes I would have spent money with this store but it's way to expensive for what you get. update: I'm updating my review because the developers took the time to address my complaints from years ago.

I loved the app when it used to work (on Android). Then it started always freezing up. After several minutes, it would eventually work. Then in addition to freezing, it started crashing...more and more. It would work after restarting though. Now it never finds my smart bulbs at all. Never works or recovers from this. Developers have apparently abandoned support of the app on Android. I'll be uninstalling it if it doesn't start working again soon . Be wary of spending money on this app.
