About this app

ProField runs the field side of a service business: the schedule, the job, the inspection report, the estimate, the invoice and the payment. It's built for trade contractors, from a one-person shop to a team with several locations.

TAP TO PAY ON ANDROID
• Take contactless card payments right on your phone, on any open invoice
• Customers can add a tip: 10%, 15%, 20% or a custom amount
• Needs a connected Stripe account and an Android 13 or newer phone with NFC

SCHEDULE AND DISPATCH
• Book jobs on a calendar and assign them to your technicians
• "Order my stops" puts the day's jobs in driving order
• Recurring service plans for monthly, seasonal or yearly visits, with optional autopay from the customer's saved card
• Approve & Schedule booking requests: edit the date, time, tech, services and price, split a visit, or decline with a reason
• "Fully booked" and "closed" warnings before you schedule
• Optional On my way, Started and Finished notices to your customer

ONLINE BOOKING
• Your booking page shows only open times, so nobody books a slot that's taken
• Block off hours, allow same-day booking and set how many jobs can share a time
• Customers can ask for an estimate with photos and notes; it lands in your Estimate requests inbox
• Send a request details link to just a phone number or an email, keep a PDF copy, and view photos full screen

INSPECTIONS AND REPORTS
• Ready-made forms for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, appliance repair, pools and more, or build your own
• Built-in checklists for chimney, air duct and dryer vent work
• Mark each item pass or fail, then add photos and notes
• AI drafts the written report from your checklist, and you review it before it goes out
• Edit a finished report and make the PDF again
• Send a clean PDF report with photos and the customer's signature

ESTIMATES, INVOICES AND PAYMENTS
• Estimates and invoices with your own price book and quick-add service buttons
• Discounts and fees with a saved list, sales tax by item type at your business rate, and prices to the cent
• Full pricing on jobs, carried over to the invoice
• Customers sign estimates right on your phone
• Send by email or text, with a link to pay the invoice online or view the estimate
• Deposits and part payments, and see what's paid and what's still owed
• Job signatures when the work is done, and review requests after the job

CUSTOMERS AND TEAM
• Customer records with addresses, properties and full job history
• Team roles: owners and admins run the office, technicians see their own jobs
• Works offline on the job site and syncs when you're back in signal
• Web dashboard at app.getprofield.com for the office
