Stocks Widget is a home screen widget that displays stock price quotes from your portfolio

Features:

This widget was fantastic for years, but in the last several months it stopped working properly: not updating content on the set refresh interval, manual refresh stopped working, the content would glitch and show blanks requiring you to reset the widget losing the positioning of each symbol. It is a simple widget, nothing fancy, but its core offerings stopped working properly, assumingly stopped updating along with OS updates causing instability. response to dev response: true for me

Great simple ticker app. Clean, easy to use. However, it would be better for me if I could save multiple portfolio groups without them being tied to widgets. (I have one set of symbols I'd like to view in a widget, one set I don't want a widget for. Unless I'm missing something, I can't save that second set without having it as a homescreen widget.) I would also like to be able to manually sort symbols without them rearranging.

Just installed on a Galaxy S24. Would be fantastic if it actually refreshed by itself, but it doesn't. It takes jabbing the tiny refresh icon on the top right corner of the widget to get it to fetch. Would be much better if: 1) Auto refresh works AND can be set to 1 minute intervals, 2) A slightly larger manual refresh button could be OPTIONALLY added to the widget. Thank you.
