I've encountered huge perf issues trying to load the Order Editor on two different Android platforms. It has taken 30 sec or more to load, which has cost me money because I'm not able to close positions or modify existing orders when I need to. I never encountered performance issues in the previous version before the re-design.
I really like TOS. I've been using it on my desk top for over a year. I just installed the mobile app and it keep saying "No Internet connection" which is extremely frustrating. I have plenty of data usage available ony phone plus WiFi in my house. This seems to be like an unreliable app and I would not recommend the mobile version to anyone. The desktop version gets an "A+"
This app used be one of my fav mobile apps for trading. When I place an order a green circle comes (processing), if I wanted to replace an options order, I was unable to do it even through web at times. It throws an exception when I try to change it through web. It takes about a minute or more to replace/cancel the order. They never compromise on brokerage by a penny and in spite of giving repeated calls to the customer service and sending emails, their response is slow to tackle these issues. But the good thing is they have someone all the time to answer your questions. When td touts about their research platform side, they are missing the basics of mobile trading now such as place an order, replace/cancel/fill. Sometimes when you open up the app, I see that there are no working orders. But after 5 to 10 seconds I see the order exists. So I basically don't know if the order is executed or not. While placing a new order while changing the quantity, it doesn't instantly give me the confirm button to send. I will have to wait for 5 to 15 seconds for this to appear. This doesn't happen all the time. But the app is very erratic. I would strongly recommend to go to a discount broker and definitely not E-Trade since they are the worst. I have followed all the stuff advised by the Td team such as to uninstall and reinstall the app. But nothing is working thus far. Choose your broker wisely.
Buggy. Watchlists has bug that keeps quote at bottom of the page and you are unable to delete it. Please fix.
The best broker app. To be frank, TD's desktop and mobile apps as well as convenient are the reasons why I stick with TD.
It loads a lot faster now. Nice improvements.
