Simple Spellcheck is a free and open source keyboard app that additionally allows users to create and maintain a personalized spellcheck or text replacement library. This app is aimed at users who want total control of their data, but don't want to give up autocorrections or text suggestions when typing.
Simple Spellcheck Keyboard cannot natively connect to the internet and your data is all stored locally. The appearance and settings available on Simple keyboard are available on Simple Spellcheck, as well as some additional customizations. Simple Spellcheck simply does word replacement, and is not able to learn what you might say using an LLM or other method. Each misspelling must be manually inputted by the user. A sample library is included for English, which can be deleted or changed and added to if desired.
