So nice when it works. It's so unbelievably slow to load anything, if it actually does. It freezes, trying to load events notifications is ridiculous. Almost never works trying to enter them through the event notification. You have to close the app and just load it through the normal main screen, and still either doesn't work (just sits there and loads) or it doesn't work at all... Like I said at the beginning, it's nice when it works, but this app definitely needs some attention.

App no longer functions to delete recordings. As of today I can no longer delete recordings from my local storage memory card. I select all recorded clips to delete then get a "failed to delete" error. I noticed after the latest update on 9/11/25 that I wasn't getting notifications in a timely manner when someone arrived at my back door, they would show up an hour or more later. I should have stuck with a Eufy doorbell and app. I've never had a problem with it.

It's local storage, and then you can buy cloud storage. It does the job, but it is definitely slower than the big name cameras. And it wins the "worst speaker in a doorbell cam" prize, hands down. It isn't even worth trying to talk to someone through the speaker. I like the unit, but it's far from perfect. Usually if I try to talk to someone they are already walking away from no response due to the lag. And if they hear the speaker, consider it a miracle.
