So nice when it works. It's so unbelievably slow to load anything, if it actually does. It freezes, trying to load events notifications is ridiculous. Almost never works trying to enter them through the event notification. You have to close the app and just load it through the normal main screen, and still either doesn't work (just sits there and loads) or it doesn't work at all... Like I said at the beginning, it's nice when it works, but this app definitely needs some attention.

App no longer functions to delete recordings. As of today I can no longer delete recordings from my local storage memory card. I select all recorded clips to delete then get a "failed to delete" error. I noticed after the latest update on 9/11/25 that I wasn't getting notifications in a timely manner when someone arrived at my back door, they would show up an hour or more later. I should have stuck with a Eufy doorbell and app. I've never had a problem with it.

Beware about bloatware and third party data collection. The video app itself is great and it works, but the amount of third party scripts and background requests to other domains (not affiliated with aosu) is bothersome. Also, this camera never works locally without a cloud even if you have no subscription. It still needs to connect to external APIs and IPs in order to stream the data you have on your own local SD card. It doesn't connect for coordination only, it actually streams from cloud
