I needed a single place to share information with multiple people. I looked at a number of apps with the following requirements in mind: - place to store files - ability to chat with one or many people - calendar (or integration) - video chat was a nice to have but not required - Mobile notification (reminders) Looked at a few apps but settled on Glip because it met the requirements above and just felt right. Overall, I'm impressed and very pleased with the feature set. That said, the one thing I hope the mobile developers address is the calendar view. The desktop calendar looks/feels like a calendar but the mobile app's calendar just doesn't cut it. I find myself wanting to look a the desktop app when I just want to view by week or by month. Google calendar style would even work. A really nice to have would be video chat integration within the app, or google hangouts integration which I already use. I don't really WANT to download another app just for video chats. Another nice to have would be a personal scratch space (slack has this) so that I can draft content before posting it to the entire team.
Very functional and effective for professional work, centralizing instant communications, files, links, notes and projects into organized work groups. Great. Just an only important and old problem with calendar email notifications, because they arrive always the day after the event. Please, solve it!
Glip is a lifesaver whether I'm using the mobile app, desktop program or the browser version. My team is virtual and it let's us stay in touch, manage projects and share files efficiently.
This app is good, but crashing. Not recieving messages even i uninstall and install it on my Oppo F1s😣
A powerfull tool to improve team work.
This is an incredible app i love it. Please advice on notifications because I don't seem to get them when I'm using my Lenovo A6000 on 3G but on wifi i get the notifications
• Store your important things in the "Me" conversation. Use this private workspace to post tasks, notes, documents, reminders and ideas that only you can see. Search for "me" or look in Favorites to get started.
• Glip notes are great ways to communicate meeting summaries, ideas and action items. Now you can create and edit notes from any team or direct conversation.
• Minor UX improvements.
