I tried this app with every one of my Mbuna cichlids and algae eaters and it got EVERY SINGLE ONE wrong!! Not even close! I tried for about 30 minutes just to see if it could get one correct (I know, waste of time) but it never did. Tried with my camera, the app's camera. Nope!!! Not worth even downloading. Don't waste a moment of your time with this thing.

If I could give it no stars and leave it as a review, I would. The freshwater fish this application can't identify, is ..... Almost every fish that can be identified, telling me it's a cane toad or a bottle nosed dolphin, or a GD salamander when it's clear it has fins in the photo. Wouldn't recommend installing at all. Don't waste your time. And a message to the developers, you really messed this one up

I don't usually give a 1 star, because I understand the programmer's effort but this app just doesn't work. I installed it and took pictures of some bass from the web, where I made sure that the fish was isolated from the background and the app returned a suggestion that one picture was of a Bay Pipefish, which is more like an eel, and the second one was "identified" as a Humphead Wrasse, which is nothing like a bass. Install it yourself and give it a try. For me it just completely did not work. I'll be happy to revisit this review once the app is improved. The idea is good. The app just doesn't seem to work.
