Your jump comes up one tile short. That is not a bug, that is the rule.
Gapstride is a pixel run-and-gun where the wide gaps are measured to sit just
past your reach. You cannot brute-force them. Every long crossing is made on a
hover platform drifting back and forth on its own clock, or through a laser gate
that blinks on a cycle you have to read first. Standing still and watching is a
real move here.
Three sectors, each with its own colour and its own trick: a downtown of patrol
drones and spike pits, a foundry where a sweeping blade shares the corridor with
three laser curtains, and a core of thin pillars strung over a spike bed.
You carry a gun. Hold to keep firing, aim up to knock down the flyers overhead,
and aim down in mid-air to clear what is beneath you, which spends the rest of
your jump, so commit to it. Six health, three lives, and a checkpoint halfway
through every sector.
Run, jump, and dodge lasers across three neon sectors.
