About this app

Go Dutchie is for the money you already share with people you know. Split a dinner or a flat, share a subscription plan, or sign up for a service through a friend's referral link — three things the app does equally well, all of them with people already in your contacts.

You can look around before you sign up. A short tour shows what the app does, and the privacy policy and terms are readable without an account.

SPLIT A BILL WITH PEOPLE YOU KNOW
Splits is for everything that isn't a subscription: a trip, a flat, one dinner. Create a group, add what people paid, and Go Dutchie keeps a running balance per person until everyone is square — no arithmetic, no group chat scrollback.

Settling up is two-sided. You record a payment, the other person confirms it, and only then does the balance move — so nobody can zero their own debt. Settled groups move to your History archive.

SHARE A SUBSCRIPTION
Family and duo plans are cheaper per person, but only if you can find the other people. Mark the subscriptions you're open to sharing, and GoDutchie shows you which of your contacts are on the same service and open to sharing it too.

Once you both agree, the arrangement has a home under My Dutchies: who you're sharing each service with, what each person pays a month, and a running total. A plan can hold several people, each with their own agreed amount, so a family plan splits the way you actually use it rather than evenly by default. Costs are propose-then-agree — nothing changes until both sides accept — and either side can adjust or end an arrangement.

USE A REFERRAL LINK FROM SOMEONE YOU KNOW
Almost every service has a referral programme, and almost nobody uses one — because you never know which of your friends is already signed up. Go Dutchie answers that, for mobile and internet plans, energy, banking, insurance, travel and streaming, and shows you the link directly. There's nothing to ask for and nobody to message.

If you do want to ask about the service first — is it any good, is it worth switching — the app hands off to your phone, SMS or WhatsApp. That's your choice, and nothing is ever sent without you tapping send.

KEEP LOYALTY AND MEMBERSHIP CARDS IN MY QRS
Scan a loyalty card, membership card, or store barcode once, and Go Dutchie keeps it ready to show at checkout. My QRs is a read-only wallet — the app stores what you scan or photograph, it doesn't issue or recreate any store's official card. Add a home-screen widget to pull up to six cards one tap away, and expand any card to its full-screen barcode without opening the app.

NOBODY'S MONEY MOVES THROUGH GO DUTCHIE
Every amount in the app is something you and the people you know entered and agreed between yourselves. There is no wallet, no payment rail, and nothing to top up. Go Dutchie keeps the record straight; paying each other stays between you.

BUILT AROUND YOUR CONTACTS, NOT AROUND YOUR DATA
Your contacts' names never leave your device. Phone numbers and email addresses are sent over an encrypted connection, compared on our server as keyed digests using a secret key, and not stored. You're only ever shown against a service you chose to make visible. We show you matches — we don't build a social graph.

Contacts access is optional and is never requested when you open the app. You'll be asked only when you tap to find your contacts, on a screen that explains exactly what is sent, what it's for, and what stays on your device. Decline and everything else still works.

A phone number is optional too. You can create an account, browse services, add your own and use the app without one — only contact matching needs it.

NO FEES, NO COMMISSION
Referral links belong to the people who share them. Go Dutchie takes nothing from them, and there are no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Split any bill, share any subscription, and use your contacts' referral links
