Smart View is a mode that simultaneously provides various info such as distance, hole map according to your location
SMART VIEW automatically zooms in and out to display the hole map according to my location.
When approaching the green, it shows the Green Map. In the Hole Map, it recommends clubs and distances based on the distances registered for each club.
Touching the map activates Touch point distance guidance, and after 15 seconds, it returns to Smart View's club distance guidance.

UPDATE auto shot tracking is on, watch software is up to date. I emailed support twice. Still no fix for the automatic shot tracking or losing the GPS midway through a round. I tried to contact support but they won't return my emails. I got the Galaxy watch 5 golf edition. I have the same issues as everyone else with the app dropping and then not being able to continue until I get to the next tee box. I was excited for this but I've golfed a few rounds and it has yet to track a single shot.

The app is good, not great. It doesn't keep score correctly. Has a weird function that doesn't allow you to enter more than 1 putt for a par 3 hole. But most annoyingly it doesn't keep track of score correctly. The heat map on the greens doesn't work most of the time. I paid for the upgrade but don't see a difference, so I think it's a scam. Don't buy into it. However, the distance calculations I feel are moderately accurate, and I love the club recommendation.

I pick the samsung golf watch over the shot scope because of the lifetime golf app and convenience of checking messages and answering calls from my watch. About 4 months ago, I started using the watch and app and all was well. About 3wks ago, scoring from my round stopped translating to app. Scored 96 for my round, but the app shows a score of 152. It seems to be a coding issue, but now the app is trash. App developer is aware and working on correcting the issue.
