It's an ok app but won't learn enough. It shows you a picture with the German work but without the gender/der die das which is a major part of the language. It's basically a flash card with half the word. It also doesn't tell you the English word. Especially with the insects the cute little picture gave me no clue what it was supposed to be (locust). I had to look it up. It did give a good pronunciation of the alphabet although I'm still having a hard time hearing the difference between E and I

I think this app is great, I just wish things were translated to English using letters as well because sometimes I can't tell what something is based on just a picture. Edit: Thanks for the reply. I understand, it would help if something like that was added, but maybe I learn more effectively this way.

As someone who is serious about travelling to Germany next year, God willing, I am taking it cool. It's very interesting and can say that it's going well. Sometimes, I fill it is difficult, but I know very well that in everything the beginning is tougher. But as time goes on, surely I will be doing better than I am doing now
