Great app, had a couple of calls so far and a couple of stand downs after a couple of mins which can be frustrating but don't want to wind up cluttering up a scene. I can't believe the amount of people who are complaining because they're too stupid to know how to adjust the notification volume on THEIR device, Jesus. Aside from that incompetence blighting the reviews it's a superb bit of kit

200+ hours on duty & only once had to go and help someone. However, the app has twice alerted me when my phone has been off, but I hadn't turned the on-duty tab to 'OFF' first. I find out next time I turn the phone on. Surely, the app can check the last time GPS position was updated. If it's more than a couple of hours, the phone is probably off, so don't send an alert.

I've left a review before, but this is an edit to ask if there are any problems. I get the emails telling me how desperately people are needed, and I've been doing the Check in and Chat since the start of the first lockdown. I used to get multiple requests most days, but I've had no requests now since November 17th, which is really unusual. Are people not in need of the help any more, or is there some problem and the requests are not getting through to me for some reason? Thanks.

Hi Glenis, the calls are purely driven by the demand, the check-in-and-chat requests were changed to only last for 4 weeks instead of forever. (This was a decision made by the NHS/RVS.) As a result the number of clients needing this type of support has been reduced, so you get less calls, nothing to do with us, rather the decisions being made.
