IN THE NEWS

“A full-on RPG, complete with character progression, inventory management, and NPC interactions ... The character development and combat systems find that sweet spot between being too simplistic to matter and becoming a bloated distraction.” – Gamespace.com

“Untold RPG is a really solid and convenient package. It delivers feelings of grand adventure while allowing you to experiment and explore, and it does this pretty much all through text. It may not satisfy folks looking for a flashier, more action-packed experience, but Untold's restraint is exactly what makes it so impressive and refreshing.” – 148apps.com

It's a great game but I haven't been able to get to the demo cut off. There is a glitch I've only been able to fix once where I'm not able to open the character/inventory/quests. I played happily (but badly which is my own fault) and the next time I opened after that first time the screen is scrunched and I couldn't get the bottom buttons again. No one else seems to have this problem online. Edit: Glitch isn't fixed but I have a workaround and they've been super nice. Totes recommend the game!

Hi Megan! I haven't heard of this issue before. Would you mind writing to me at hello@untold-game.com so that I can follow up on this. Best, Adam

I played as a combat type, and can say that the rpg scaling was fairly tight in this game, you never feel super "op" and work for what "op" you have. I was able to plan out stats even for field checks (which leads to more gear etc.) on my first playthrough (I used the game's saves, but it would've worked out anyway.) Moreover the enemies and world were pretty unique and left a lot open ended. I wish we had a sequel, while not short, I think this game left room for more adventures or enemies.

In the grand scheme of things, this game is really good. I did have to buy the full version, but like they said the full version is not short by all means. It has a interesting story and enough new plot to keep me invested. There are a few lacking properties, like, the combat, the skills, exploration, and actions Ofc it's a story game, without the story, it'd be tasteless. Little room for personal choice. The game works well as is, but it could be even better.
