About this app

The “City Islamabad App” is the government service provider smart phone mobile application, developed exclusively for the citizens of Islamabad. The app bridges the gap between citizens and government departments by offering regulatory, consumer utilities and statutory services. At present, it has 7 sections and 44 services. The sections include e-police, Excise and Taxation, Capital Development Authority/Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad, City Guide, ICT Administration, Notifications, and featured services with multiple services like Domicile Certificate, International Driving Permit, Corruption, Accident, Token Tax Payment, Emergency Numbers and Vehicle Registration, within each section.

The app is designed poorly, it doesn't allow us to set a password of our desired length so we are forced to set up a password that can be easily forgotten, which is what happened to me, now I'm trying to use the forget password option and as soon as I enter my CNIC number, the app gives me 500 Server error, please fix the forget password function of the app so that people can regain access and use the app. I have sent a complaint using the internal feedback channel within the app too. Thanks.

One of the most useless app designed to make sure that citizens suffer. You are not allowed to set a password desired length. It forces you to set a password with less length. Then after some days when you login, it asks the password again. How can someone remember the password if the app forces us to set it within a length. And then again you have to reset the password and the cycle repeats. The fingerprint login works only for sometime.
