Not user-friendly for non-technical people. Support is not helpful. I was told by support that I needed to allow the app on my firewall, and that: "we only provide support for the AusweisApp, and we cannot offer you comprehensive support in configuring your end devices or your network." I added the exception, but that is not enough. We must create specific inbound and outbound rules on Advanced Security. I found that on their documentation, without the support assistance.

complicated as other German apps. If you changed your id card , it's complicated to register a new one. I had to delete the data of the app to register a new id card. update: I had to delete the data of the app on my phone.

Always worked as described. Connected with desktop app as card reader smooth and easy. Surprising, given it's government app.
