About this app

"How many colors is this, and how many stitches? Will it fit my hoop?"
— A tool for answering that before the file goes anywhere near the machine.

■ What it does

[See the design]
Open a file and the design is drawn on screen. Pinch to zoom right in.

[Stitch count, colors, finished size]
How many stitches, how many colors, and the finished size in mm or inches — so you know whether it fits your hoop before you stitch it.

[Thread order and usage]
Color 1 for this many stitches, color 2 for that many, in order. You can see whether you have enough thread before you line the spools up. Brother and Janome files carry thread names, so those are shown too.

[Follow the stitching order]
Drag the slider and watch the design build from the first stitch. You can see where it starts and how it moves.

[Show jump stitches]
Overlay the jumps between color blocks as dotted lines. Lots of jumps means lots of trimming later.

[Save as an image]
Save the whole design as a sharp 2048px picture — even while you are zoomed in, the full design goes into the image. Handy for asking someone "is this the one?" without sending the file itself.

[Change the thread colors]
Tap a swatch and pick the color yourself — match the thread actually on your shelf, or show a customer "how about this one?". The app remembers your choice per file, so it opens the same way next time.

[Open a ZIP as it is]
Designs you download usually arrive as a .zip. Open it without unzipping first. If there are several designs inside, pick one from the list.

[Thread numbers, too]
For Brother and Janome files the app shows the maker's thread number as well as the name — what you need when you go to buy more of the same color.

[Export as DST]
Write out what you have — a .pes from a home machine, say — as .dst, the format commercial machines expect. Useful when handing a design to a shop.

Note: .emb (Wilcom) is a closed format the maker has never published, so no app can open it. When a file cannot be opened, the app shows you exactly which formats it can open.

• **No network.** The file you open never leaves this device. Nothing is uploaded. No account.

• **It draws the actual stitches** — not the small preview image embedded in the file — so zooming in shows you one stitch at a time.

This is a **viewer**. It does not create or edit designs.

About color: the .dst, .exp and .u01 formats carry no color information at all. Colors shown for those files are placeholders — only the stitching order is real, and the app says so on screen. .pes and .jef carry the maker's thread numbers, so real thread colors and names are shown.

Finished size is calculated from the needle coordinates stored in the file. Fabric stretch, stabilizer and hooping tension all change what comes off the machine.

• Ads are a banner at the top only. **No full-screen ad interrupts you while you are looking at a design.** One full-screen video plays **only when you tap “Watch a video — 60 min ad-free”** yourself.
• A one-time purchase removes ads. **It removes ads and nothing else.** All fifteen formats, the thread list and the stitch playback are there whether or not you buy.
