Ratings and reviews

Nonexistent customer service. Outdated technology that overcharges. Without improving on both of these points I don't see how using this service could be justified. I've already written a letter through the feedback form with details of my situation, and more than a week later no one has responded; but I have been blocked from my account. That is the kind of treatment (on top of being charged for 4x the time I booked) that Greenwheels offers.

I sure wish Greenwheels wasn't the dominant car sharing service where I live because their registering on their app is a nightmare. My husband was unable to get past their automated driver's license verification and it failed with an unspecified error when he tried to skip it. I was able to get past it and pay the deposit only for it to fail after I paid €50. If it's this hard simply to sign up I dread discovering what can go wrong when I try to rent a car.

A series of disappointing experiences - bad enough to cancel my account. 1. A below standard car over Xmas. Key fob broken. Key can't open the car. Had to use App to open/close car, but it kept crashing. I wrote an email to Greenwheels. No reply. 2. Challenged a cleaning fee - as I vacuum the cars after use. Again, no reply. 3. My booking was moved by Greenwheels to a different car. New car had a flat battery. They charged an hour usage on a car that didn't even start. Disappointing.
