About this game
**Gridline** is a block puzzle with 9x9 solo modes and tactical AI duels on side-by-side 6x9 boards. Place shapes, complete rows, columns, and 3x3 boxes, clear the board, survive rising pressure, and outplay opponents in versus matches. Easy to learn, hard to put down.
**Five game modes:**
**Classic**
A clean, focused puzzle mode. No helpers, no gimmicks, just you, the grid, and better decisions every turn.
**Boost**
When a run starts going bad, use power-ups to recover:
• Swap — replace any piece with a new random one
• Reshuffle — get a fresh set of all three pieces
• Erase — remove any single cell from the board
**Pressure Line**
The board fights back. Every few moves, a row of gray blocks rises from below. Keep clearing lines or run out of space. Includes all Boost power-ups.
**Rush Line**
Pressure Line with timed missions. Clear rows, build combos, and use Freeze to stop the clock when every second matters.
**Duel**
Gridline's standout versus mode. Face AI opponents on two side-by-side 6x9 boards, build your own score, and disrupt the other side at the right moment. Three difficulty levels, from relaxed to ruthless.
**Features:**
• Streaks and combos — chain clears on consecutive turns for bigger scores
• AI Duel mode — tactical head-to-head matches on side-by-side 6x9 boards
• Records — track your best runs by day, week, month, and all time
• 3 visual themes — dark, terminal green, and light
• 2 sound packs — marimba and percussion
• Auto-save — continue right where you left off
• Second chance — watch a short video to continue after game over
