Start by navigating using GPS-enabled directions to within 30 feet of the cache — then your real search begins. Geocaches are hidden out of sight, often disguised, to only be found by the people who are trying to find them.
 
Geocaches come in all shapes, sizes, and types — and some may be more cleverly deceptive than you can even imagine. Cache owners will always include a log book for you to sign to record your successful find. Larger containers might also include some treasures to be traded or moved to other cache locations — like with trackable tags, personal keepsakes, and the occasional geocoin hoping to be passed on to the next adventurer. Once you are done with the container, simply place it back exactly as you found it for the next explorer to discover.
 
With a constantly growing community of geocachers there is no limit to how you can get in on the fun. You can play as a family in your neighborhood and parks, add some cache seeking to your jogging or fitness routine, or challenge yourself with some all-terrain caches on a hike near your favorite trails. This app is absolutely game-changing for those of us who remember the inconvenience of caching with a GPS device back in the stone ages. The app does lack some desired functionality and is glitchy sometimes, but it works and definitely streamlines things! It sometimes doesn't show all of the caches in the area and I'm not sure why, but that's a big problem for me. My rating kept 4 stars simply for existing, lost one star due to the annoyances I've experienced.

So far this is an awesome app, I just got into Geocaching and it's a fun way to enjoy the outdoors. I would however suggest when people put things like: (caution could have: snakes, wild animals, etc.) The app can automatically pull up ways to deal with the danger, little survival tips and what to do in an emergency. Maybe has a link to a snake bite what to do, a way to call emergency from the app for faster response times. I have a few other ideas, not enough words, but I really like this app.

I was excited when I originally found this app. I was quick to download it and set up an account and then boom. There it was. "Subscribe to premium now for access to premium caches".... uh, no. Let's do this. I log out and leave a bad review for turning a fun, free activity into a subscription service. Another case of a greedy developer trying to make money when I can easily get coordinates off the web and enter them in maps. Essentially they are charging a subscription fee to copy & paste.
