About this app

Guidez is a travel app built on a simple idea: the best recommendations come from people, not from
a ranking algorithm. Every place in Guidez was put there by a creator who went, liked it, and said
so.

BROWSE MAPS MADE BY PEOPLE
Explore travel maps built by creators around the world. Open a map and you get their actual picks —
the cafe worth the walk, the viewpoint that is better an hour before sunset, the neighbourhood
restaurant that never shows up in a top-ten list. Each place carries the creator's own note about
why it is there.

FIND WHAT IS AROUND YOU
Explore opens on a map of what is nearby. Switch to Browse to travel by continent and country
before you go, or search for the creators covering the places you care about. Zoom out and
crowded areas gather into count bubbles instead of a wall of overlapping pins.

A FEED OF PLACES, NOT POSTS
The Feed is a full-screen scroll of individual places over the creator's own photos and video, with
a switch between what is around you now and what is around the world. It is built for finding one
good place, not for endless scrolling.

SAVE WHAT YOU WANT TO REMEMBER
Save maps you want to come back to and filter your library by continent, country, or creator. Mark
places you have visited. Saving works offline and syncs to your Guidez account when you are signed
in, so your library follows you to another phone.

BUILD YOUR OWN MAPS
Create your own maps, add places with your own notes, and share them with friends by link. A map
you build is yours and private until you share it.

FORWARD A POST INTO A MAP
Share an Instagram or TikTok post to Guidez and it finds the places in it, ready to save or drop
onto one of your maps. Google Maps places and lists are always free to forward; posts get three
free forwards a day, and packs of more are available if you want them.

ASK GUIDO
Describe the kind of place you are in the mood for and Guido looks through Guidez creators to find
something that fits.

BUILT FOR TRAVEL
Works in English and Hebrew, following your system language, with full right-to-left support. Light
and dark appearance. Location is used to show what is near you and to work out travel times. It is
never sold, and it is only ever sent as part of asking what is nearby.
