HARMAN RCP is a software technology solution intended to capture medical device and patient reported data to monitor specific health parameters for chronic disease patients and post-acute care patient at home. HARMAN RCP relies on 3rd party medical devices for data collection. It does not modify the data and it does not by itself control the functions or parameters of any other medical device.

HARMAN RCP APP is a smart edge, intended for remote patient monitoring and elderly care. The APP is used to collect health data from FDA regulated sensors (e.g. blood pressure cuffs, weighing scales, thermometers, pulse oximeters, glucometers, etc.) and report the collected data back to the patient’s authorized health provider via RCP Platform.

The connection to the sensors is made utilizing Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) wireless protocol. The health data is collected into RCP APP and persistently stored into a secure database, until delivered to RCP Platform over HTTPS via cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity. From patient’s experience perspective, RCP APP provides timely reminders to take the prescribed vitals measurement, medications, allows them to check the vitals trend and respond back to the questionnaires.
