The actual HUD technology is great. Very helpful. However, I've gone through about 4 different apps to link up to my smartphone to navigate and NONE of them have been usable. You truly get hosed on that end. If you buy the subscription apps you are wasting your money. So my question is "did the HUD designers know this and put the product out there anyway?" Very disappointing. Waiting on Google or Waze to catch up & offer HUD technology for their maps.
Have wasted a lot of time on what seemed like a good app. Where are the Street names? They are shown in settings but do not appear. Without some reference to the real world, all you get is. A glorified clock and speedometer. Useless as sat nav
Do not use it doesn't do anything but show your speed and very rough direction . I'm off no use to me
This HUD is useless. It will not show driving directions - yes, route planned and started through Google maps and notifications in ON. All it shows is a huge compass diamond and two different speed rates. There is no map and there is no direction instructions. I want to see my Google maps on the HUD not just a speed - I see that quite effectively on my speedometer already.
After paying for the premium features the app stopped working. Indeed, I disabled and re-enabled notifications access for the app. It no longer connected to navigation. (though it did prior to my paying for the premium features.) The dev responded quickly though, providing a refund. Thank you the fast response is much appreciated. (added to stars for that.)
