The Helium Hotspot app is a secure, smartphone app for onboarding Helium Hotspots and running diagnostics.

Set up your Hotspot in minutes with Helium. Once you’ve linked your wallet, simply pair your Hotspot with the Helium app, connect to Wi-Fi, and specify your Hotspot location.

With the Helium Hotspot app it doesn’t matter if you need to manage one or many Hotspots, it can support dozens or even hundreds of Hotspots.

Ratings and reviews

This app and it's online counter part are ok. One day it'll be fast and pull up your hotspot and provide you the data quickly and some days like RIGHT NOW, it still hasn't pulled my information into the app nor the their online explorer and it's been literally 10 minutes. They need to really focus on the UI and provide better information like graphs for growth, what do they consider a day (what time zone). And discovery mode seems to always have backend issues.

Not very good, slow to update information you change but quick to take your money for changing it. The "update location" needs more work. The map screen is so small that you can't tell if the location is correct or not. Need to be able to type in our location also, the auto detect doesn't say exactly where you are so that you can tell if it's correct. Lost money twice because of it putting my location in the wrong place! I personally don't have the funds to waste trying to use this app!

App is functional, but that's about it. Can't change the currency it decides to convert to, the option is in the settings but you just can't interact with it. The map is so bad it's laughable, you can't navigate it without it changing to any other location it chooses, and even when you don't touch it, it sometimes teleports you to another miner nowhere near where you were on the map. All around horrible experience, slow, buggy and frustrating to use.
