How can this be as highly rated as it seems - look at all the negative ratings... Anyway, as others note, returning bikes is horrible. The app showed parking spots that didn't have QR codes. Customer support (ongoing) is slow, limited hours, and seems like they just deny... Such a shame, the bikes were fine and a great way to get around. Just failed in the app side, pretty quickly.

First-month pass is cheaper than Anywheel's, but after that it's $3/month more. Bike availability also depends on your area, and Anywheel has more bikes in some neighbourhoods. Some older bikes have worn tires, worn brake pads, and noisy chains. New users should note the pass doesn't cover non-standard bikes. I assumed it did, unlocked one, and was charged with no waiver. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend HelloRide and will switch to Anywheel when my pass expires.

One of the worst app experience. Found HelloRide at a Mandai bike stand but it turns out the entire Mandai area has no HelloRide parking. Returned to where I started my ride, also couldn't return. Had to pay $5 relocation fee, for a total of 0km traveled since I went back to pickup location. Managed to appeal the relocation fees only. Suggested the devs to implement a simple safeguard to warn users from picking up from invalid areas, but only got canned replies on how to appeal.
