Tried the Demo version and literally learned more in that demo then I have in the last week of trying to learn with other apps. and I feel like I am remembering what I just learned. so I signed up for their premium+ subscription after the demo ran out. They offer a lot if different paid versions, I opted for the highest tier which was only 149. for a year at the max tier. They had options as low as ...I want to say 3 or 5 dollars a month? Anyway, I reccomend it. really enjoying the flow.

This app has been fantastic for me, a first time learner. Over 28 days, at 1-3 lessons a day, i completed the entire free main course. I purchased the 3 month premium and so far I'm very satisfied with what I'm getting. This app is easy to use, includes lots of different ways of engaging with the characters you're learning including learning to write them, typical bookwork style, and games/stories to read. There are videos and podcasts from real Chinese speakers. I can't write more, but try it!

I've tried other apps and guided lessons, but this app has been the most impactful so far. They update lessons frequently and offer detailed discussions about current colloquialisms. You can learn up to lesson 5 for free and continue to practice after you've finished the free lessons. The $70 annual price tag is a little steep and has me on the fence. Otherwise, I highly recommend it. 11 May, '26; I've decided to pay the $70 to continue for a year.
