About this game
One move further, one level higher. Play against an AI tailored to you at Chess Master and build your skills.
■ 12-Level Stockfish AI
You can select the opponent difficulty level from beginner to expert. AI matches and analysis run on your device, allowing you to enjoy chess without an internet connection.
■ Wide and Clear Chessboard
Focus on the game with a chessboard that utilizes the screen width, display of movable squares, highlighting of the last move, and the ability to select promoted pieces. Supports White, Black, and Random sides, as well as time settings of Unlimited, 5 mins + 3 seconds, and 10 mins + 5 seconds.
■ Highest Intensity Practice Hints
Recommended moves are calculated in Stockfish's highest intensity setting, independent of the opponent AI difficulty. You can view hints for 3 moves per practice match for free, and hints for the same move can be viewed again. Purchasing the Lifetime Unlimited Hints pass removes the limit on the number of practice hints. Since these are recommendations based on a limited analysis time, perfect moves are not guaranteed.
■ Challenge Rating Matches and Growth Rewards
We provide Rating Matches where you challenge the AI without hints or undo options, as well as XP, daily goals, and promotion board themes. Rating is a personal growth metric used within the app and is not a score from official tournaments or online rankings.
■ Chessboards of Your Style
Enjoy 6 basic and growth board themes, and add 3 additional themes—Rose Gold, Sapphire, and Art Deco—with the optional Royal Collection. Themes do not affect your game performance.
■ Review Your Game
Supports the playback of game records for the last 40 matches and PGN export. The separate Lifetime Review & Analysis pass offers 3-move candidate comparison, full move analysis, mistake notes, and FEN board loading.
■ Selectable One-time In-App Purchases
Unlimited Hints, the Royal Collection, Review & Analysis, and Ad Removal are sold separately. These are not auto-renewing subscriptions, and purchases can be restored using the same Google Play account. The Unlimited Hints plan does not include hints for Rating Matches. The app includes a top banner and a full-screen ad at the end of a match. Ad display depends on factors such as loading status. The ad removal plan removes both types of ads. An internet connection is required for ads and purchases.
Match records and growth data are stored on your device; cloud synchronization is not supported. Records may be lost if the app data is deleted or reinstalled.
Uses Stockfish 19. In the app settings, you can export the GPLv3 license, notices, and source and build materials for the included engine for free.
