About this app

HEX keeps your whole band on the same page, from rehearsal to the last song of the night.

Build your songs once, organize them into setlists, and play from clean chord-and-lyric charts on stage. When the music director changes the key or moves to the next section, everyone's screen follows along.

SONG CHARTS
• Write and edit songs with chords and lyrics, plus key, tempo (BPM), time signature and a reference video link
• View charts in standard chords or the Nashville Number System
• Guitar and piano chord diagrams
• Adjust font size, bold chords, chord color, and light or dark theme for easy reading on stage

KEYS AND TRANSPOSITION
• Transpose any song in a setlist with one tap
• Live Transpose sends key changes to the whole band
• Sing or play a sustained note to detect a song's key using your microphone

SETLISTS
• Create, reorder and share setlists
• Suggested transition chords between songs (by fourths, fifths or passing chords) with gospel, jazz, pop and worship styles
• Schedule setlists on a calendar so your team knows what's coming up

LIVE MODE
• A distraction-free stage view with next and previous song and section controls
• Live follow: when the leader changes songs or sections, band members' screens update in real time
• Optional spoken section cues (Verse, Chorus, Bridge, Solo, and more) so you always know what's next
• Hands-free control with a Bluetooth MIDI foot controller: learn a four-button mapping for songs and sections

WORK AS A TEAM
• Invite band members to your setlists and manage your team
• Message bandmates directly, with photos, reactions and read receipts
• Follow other musicians, browse their songs and setlists, rate songs, and import songs into your own setlists

OFFLINE READY
• Download songs and setlists for venues with poor signal
• Changes you make offline sync automatically when you reconnect
