About this app

Every number Truemark prints gets marked on a real stick of conduit, so the app shows you where that number came from. Enter the offset height and the angle you are bending; get the mark spacing, the shrink, and the distance from the end of the pipe.

CONDUIT
Offset. Offset from a fixed end point. 3-point saddle. 4-point saddle. Rolling offset with true offset and roll angle. Segment bend for a large radius from many small bends. Stub-up. Back-to-back 90s. Corner obstruction. Kick. Parallel offset for a second run.

PIPE AND LAYOUT
Slope and drop: fall, percent grade and true pipe length. Triangle square-up with the 3-4-5 check. Run layout, so several bends on one stick are all marked from the same end.

FRAMING
Stair: total rise to risers, run and stringer, with a US IRC R311.7.5 check. Rafter: span and pitch to rafter length and cuts, common plus hip and valley.

YOUR BENDER, NOT A GENERIC TABLE
Take-up and center-line radius are editable. The manual that comes with a bender tells you to read the deduct off the casting, and your measured take-up beats any published one. Gain is derived from the radius you set. Inch and millimeter benders are both included, and the app works in fractional inches or millimeters.

WHY THE NUMBERS ARE TRUSTWORTHY
Every constant sits next to the publication it came from, and the app says so on screen when a value could not be confirmed against the manufacturer's own page. Invalid input produces no number at all, because a silent zero is a wrongly marked pipe. The worked examples the tests are built from are published ones, not our own arithmetic.
