Looks alright and has a pretty airline standard user experience. Lot of backend trouble though; online check-in only worked half the time, passport scan didn't work at all, etc. Difficulties ranged from "whatever" to annoying but surmountable. 2.5 or 3 out of 5. OTOH, HK Express is a -1/5 airline determined to make their "budget" price worthwhile in other fees. You're better off flapping your arms really hard to get where you want to go. Pick another airline.

This is the worst app ever. I'm trying to sign up but they said I already have an account, not sure how because when I registered, it failed so I didn't even set a password. So I go reset the password, and it keeps erroring out. Then I signed in with the Cathay log in because that was given as an option but there was also an error. Can't rest the password with the app or the website so I can't book the flight. Other companies will let you book the flights without logging in. Not this one

I bought my ticket using a third company and I cannot add baggage or any other add-on, I can't manage my booking, I can't even see it, I also can't check-in using the app or website.. That's a nightmare.. I'll have to pay a lot more for baggage at the airport and do the check-in on the counter... I already regret deeply buying the ticket to fly with this terrible company already.. I will NEVER use this company again, NEVER.
