Hoamsy is a home for small creators in your community to share their skills and passions with others. It's the place for "home made" events. Whether it's learning to make sourdough with that neighbor who runs a home bakery, exploring ceramics from that authentic artist making everything from their home studio, or exploring ice climbing in the mountains a few hours north with that dude that's almost too adventurous, it's all here.

Hoamsy is a place for people who want to explore the wide variety of life that's all around them, and want to do it in the most authentic ways. Nothing processed and mass produced. It's small batch, bespoke experiences, created and hosted directly by the people in your community doing these things every day.

There's roughly five categories of experiences you'll find on our platform. Food and Drink experiences involve diving into everything from making cultural dishes, to holiday cookie decorating. Arts experience will have you exploring texture painting one day, and linoleum block printing the next. If you start looking for Crafting you'll find some awesome leatherworking where you can make your own custom bags, clutches, and wallets, or you might find some sculptural candle making. Active experiences will have you running outdoors to go foraging with a local expert, or maybe some yoga on the beach. Lastly, Casual experiences will have you competing in puzzle races and opening up to tarot.

Amazing!! One of the best things to happen to Boston. Hoamsy makes it super easy to book fun activities—whether you’re going solo or hanging out with friends. Tons of great options at awesome prices. Definitely check it out!

I did a glassware class where the host had to glaze and return our glassware at a later date. The host promised 2 weeks, which then turned to a month, then 2. They have a strict no refund policy so I initiated a charge back with my bank because I never received the item I paid over $100 for. The owner of Hoamsy then contacted me, refused to refund me or apologize for the host's lack of professionalism, and then tried to threaten me to get me to reverse the chargeback. Horrible company.

I ran out of characters to respond to the owner in my last review, so here's a new one: This app was suggested to me so I wanted others to know how terrible my experience was with the company. The event host was NOT sick, she was literally still hosting events while promising me my item would be ready the next week, etc. I was also NOT refunded by Hoamsy and only got my money back from my bank. The owner's response to my review shows what an unprofessional liar he is. Avoid Hoamsy!
