The hopper app does something similar to the Airbnb app that drives me insane. It shows you a ton of properties that aren't in the city you're looking to stay in. I hate that. Customers should have the option of choosing to only get results for a specific city, or click a box or add a filter to see hotels in nearby cities. It makes searching such a hassle. I'm going to use Priceline to book a hotel instead.

Terrible & quite frankly- ROBBERY!!! There is no direct way to get in touch with customer service! The price freeze option is completely misleading and basically a bait and switch. They promote the freeze like a safety net but there is no way to edit your booking info (guest or room) or cancel once you swipe. The freeze is a trap and then you can't speak to anyone without them charging you. Everything is non-refundable. Update - My hotel has no record of a fully paid stay! I need help!

I used to love this app. It was clean, very reliable in predicting flight prices and easy to use. After recent updates, the app is bloated, has ads everywhere, and is confusing to use. I'll be going back to Google Flights for my price tracking and recommendations. Also don't book your flights in the app, they will take your card info and charge you themselves. Any airline refund will go to Hopper and you'll need to call Hooper too to get your money back. Avoid!
