this is really an all-in-one app. it is a pretty good way to find hostels, but also has city chat groups that you'll be automatically added too and people are actually pretty active there. it's really easy to meet people via the social features on the app. only thing I wish the app would have is some kind of personality filter. I have unfortunately met a small number of really nasty hyperconservative people, people whose interests don't match mine, etc

They absolutely need to bring back the ability to create lists and save favorites. This is how I plan my trips ahead of time, and I've actually lost a ton of my research for a trip I've got coming up next week. I have no idea why they would have removed this. You also can't see a map of locations anymore, so it's fairly useless to try and book a decent location without having something else open to check every single one. I'll be using a different app until they fix this.

There's no way to see past/completed bookings and see whether or not the amounts (deposit, full payment, etc.) Have been properly paid and settled in full. SOOO much financial clarity, detail, and TRANSPARENCY lacking in the app, it's mind boggling. Needs to be fixed urgently. Also: customer service is abysmal - I've been waiting weeks for a response on improper charges made to my debit card and NADA.
