About this app

ClearPass QuickConnect helps you automatically configure your device to securely connect to your organization's wireless or wired network. ClearPass QuickConnect offers an easy way for users to self-configure their Windows, Mac OS X, iOS, and Android devices to support 802.1X based authentication on wired and wireless.

This application must be used in conjunction with ClearPass QuickConnect server side software deployed in your organization. After installing the application navigate to the URL provided by your organization to start automatic configuration of your device.

In most phone models, the QuickConnect application will get automatically launched during network profile provisioning. However, in some phone models, a configuration file may get downloaded instead. In such cases, click on the OPEN button the browser shows after downloading the file to launch the QuickConnect application and complete provisioning. You can also click on the downloaded file in the notification bar to launch the QuickConnect application and complete provisioning.

For more information visit www.arubanetworks.com.

NOTE: A screen lock is required and set by the Android OS when installing certificates needed for secure wireless network access. Once you no longer wish to connect to the secure wireless network, you can go to Settings > Security > Credential Storage and click on 'Clear Credentials'. You would be able to reset the screen lock after this.

The following behaviors are subject to restrictions imposed by the Android OS:

Android 11 & above :
Upon successful provisioning, User will get a dialog to allow suggested network to connect.

Android 10 :
Upon successful provisioning, User will get a notification to “Connect to Wi-Fi networks? Suggested by Clearpass Quickconnect.” Please press YES to get connectivity to automatically connect to provisioned wifi.

- Android 9 & lower :
No Change.

Minimum supported version: Android 5
Automatic device configuration to connect to secure wireless and wired networks

The store has a new app page for some reason? My review hasn't changed. There used to be an issue with it only working if your default browser was not the one that came installed on your phone. In this new update this no longer works and it's back to being unusable. I really cannot be bothered digging through decade old bug reports to get back online again like last time. Abysmal app.

Extremely unhelpful. Interface has limited control, little feedback when there's a problem.
