NODE-BT is a Bluetooth®-enabled, app-configured irrigation controller from Hunter Industries that lets you automatically irrigate any plant material lacking AC power and not having to open the valve box!

NODE-BT is quick to install, and swift to program and operate. The app provides convenient features originally on NODE, now with new enhancements all accessed from a smartphone. This means no more crossing traffic to get to roadway medians, searching for controllers in overgrown bushes, and opening dirty and potentially dangerous valve boxes.

This app allows you to:

• Remotely manage unlimited NODE-BT controllers up to 50' (15 m) away

• Manually start, stop, or suspend irrigation for up to 99 days

• Configure watering schedules with 3 programs and 8 start times each

• Activate rain or soil moisture sensors, and set monthly seasonal adjust

• See controller status, total watering and next start times, watering calendar, and irrigation logs

• View battery health and signal status

• Set battery change reminders every 3, 6, 9, or 12 months

• Pin controllers on a map for faster locating

• Copy and paste schedules from controller to controller for faster setup

• View and edit irrigation schedules offline

• View controller event logs and share with other members

• Assign images and rename stations and controllers

• Add a passcode to each controller for additional security

Ratings and reviews

This is a terrible app with a terrible product. I'm a contractor and thought this would ease the pain of having to get out of the truck to access several battery operated controllers. First of all they never connect. Second, they never download the firmware. Third, the batteries last a tenth of the time as the regular nodes. Forth, when it doesnt connect you are having to open the case everytime and reset the controller after taking the batteries out! Don't waste your time

I agree with Andrew. This is a terrible app and/or product. I purchased 3 Node BT for my apartment grounds. As of today, I can only connect with 1 of the 3 controllers. I've spent hours trying to connect, uninstalling the app, reinstalling the app, restarting my phone and reading the support documents on the website. As of today, I can still only connect to 1 of 3. Hunter makes lots if great products, but this is NOT one of them.

Today I installed a Hunter NODE-BT for the first time. The controller and the app performed without a hitch. Seeing a review rating of 1.6 had me worried. I was delighted to find I had no problems. I've buried my controller underground and really love not having to dig it up every time to change a setting. My advice: give yourself about 30 min to allow for software upgrades and configure it before installing it on your irrigation system. UI ok but could be much more intuitive.
